Trivento Reserve Chardonnay 2021
Description
Trivento Reserve Chardonnay 2021 — Mendoza, Argentina, 14% ABV. Sources 100% Chardonnay from the high-altitude Uco Valley sub-zones of Tupungato and Tunuyán — among the coolest, most prized terroirs in Mendoza for white wine. The elevation preserves natural acidity and produces the fresh, mineral character that distinguishes this from warmer-climate New World Chardonnays. Medium pale yellow with olive tinges in the glass. The nose leads with tropical fruit — pineapple, ripe peach — alongside a restrained vanilla oak note. On the palate the texture is rounded and fresh, the acidity lively, and a mineral thread runs through to a clean, balanced finish. 14% ABV. Serve at 12–14°C.
On-trade positioning: Well suited to Asian, Mediterranean, and light Western dining contexts where guests want an accessible Chardonnay with freshness rather than heavy butter and oak. Pairs broadly — seafood, white meat, mild cheeses, and Asian fusion. An accessible entry point to Argentinian white wine, and an effective by-the-glass option for venues carrying the Reserve Malbec who want a matched white to complete the Trivento Reserve pairing story.
