Frontera Premium Chardonnay — Central Valley, Chile, 13% ABV. 100% Chilean Chardonnay, oak-aged 6 months. Pale yellow in the glass; intense fruity aromas of apple, pear, papaya, and pineapple with a warm butter-and-vanilla oak note. The palate is soft and balanced — refreshing acidity underpins a slightly sweet, generous finish.
On-trade positioning: Frontera Premium Chardonnay is the Concha y Toro entry into the premium-everyday tier — a step above the entry-level Frontera range with oak ageing to justify a mid-range glass price. It gives operators a well-credentialled, versatile house white: suitable for by-the-glass programmes, set-menu inclusions, and events. The fruit-forward, slightly sweet profile appeals broadly — particularly to guests who find Old World Chardonnay too lean or austere.
