Thomas Hardy's Cabernet Sauvignon
Description
Thomas Hardy's Cabernet Sauvignon — South Australia, 14.5% ABV. The icon Cabernet in the Hardys portfolio, named in honour of the winery's founder. Pours a vivid crimson with a brilliant hue. The nose is youthful and expressive — fresh plums, red and black berry fruits, mulberry, with aromatic spice of clove, cinnamon and wild mint lifted by subtle cedar oak. On the palate: fresh dark plum and ripe blackberry interlaced with toasted oak, supported by fine, elegant tannins and a long, structured finish. A limited release with genuine cellaring potential.
On-trade positioning: as the icon Cabernet, Thomas Hardy's carries the full founding-family narrative — compelling for fine-dining floor teams and sommelier programmes. The limited-release framing supports cellar-list pricing and creates urgency for high-spend occasions: private dining, celebrations and corporate hospitality. Position at the top of the Australian red wine column, above the Tintara estate tier, as the prestige collector's pour from one of Australia's oldest continuously operating wineries.
