Combes Saint Sauveur Plan de Dieu AOC
Description
Combes Saint Sauveur Plan de Dieu AOC — Côtes du Rhône Villages AOC, Rhône Valley, France, 14% ABV. A named village cru and a genuine step up in concentration and complexity from the standard Côtes du Rhône. Grenache-Syrah-Carignan at 14% ABV; the nose is expressive and layered with cocoa, kirsch cherry, dark plum and aromatic spice. On the palate it delivers real depth — round and smooth with fine tannins and a long, spiced black-fruit finish. Pairs confidently with red meats, grilled lamb and robust sauced dishes. Serve 16–18°C.
On-trade positioning: The premium Rhône tier from the Combes Saint Sauveur stable — ideal for wine lists that want to offer a genuine appellation step-up without moving to Châteauneuf-du-Pape prices. The Plan de Dieu designation carries credibility with wine-literate guests in Singapore's growing fine-casual dining segment. Recommended as a by-the-bottle option alongside the CDR by-the-glass, creating a natural upsell pathway for your floor team.
