Baron de Lestac Bordeaux Blanc — Bordeaux AOC, France, 12.5% ABV. Bright pale gold with green hints; the nose is expressive and lifted with aromas of white flowers, fresh citrus and a whisper of vanilla from light oak contact. On the palate the wine is well-balanced with juicy citrus and stone-fruit notes, a soft mid-palate and a clean, buttery finish. Sauvignon Blanc-led, with the roundness typical of the Bordeaux appellation. Pairs well with seafood, white meats and Asian cuisine. Serve 8–10°C.
