Trivento Reserve Malbec 2021

Trivento Reserve Malbec 2021

ABV 14.6% Brand: Trivento (Argentina) Category: Wines

Description

Trivento Reserve Malbec 2021 — Mendoza, Argentina, 14.6% ABV. Draws fruit from two of Mendoza's landmark sub-zones — the higher-altitude Uco Valley at 1,200 m.a.s.l. and the prestigious Luján de Cuyo at 900 m.a.s.l. — combining altitude-driven freshness with classic Mendoza fruit density. Carmine-red with violet reflections. The nose is generous: ripe fig, black plum, and raspberry underpinned by well-integrated vanilla oak. The palate is mid-weight with naturally sweet, velvety tannins and a fruit-forward mid-palate that carries through to a polished finish. Best served at 16–18°C; 14.6% ABV. Best served at 16–18°C; will develop further with 1–3 years' cellaring.

On-trade positioning: The volume workhorse of a Trivento by-the-glass programme — priced to deliver genuine quality at an accessible mark-up. Works across steak restaurants, casual dining, and Spanish and Latin American cuisines. Tagged as a house-pour candidate for its versatility and consistent supply; the Reserve Malbec is the reference entry-point Argentinian red on most wine lists before stepping to the Golden Reserve for a premium tier.
