Hitachino Nest Pale Ale
Description
Hitachino Nest Pale Ale — Japan, 5.5% ABV. Bridges the gap between an approachable session pour and a more complex craft IPA. Brewed with a rich barley malt backbone, it showcases American hop varieties that deliver bright citrus and pine aromatics on the nose. The malt-to-hop balance is firmly in the pale ale camp — moreish and smooth, with a moderate bitterness that builds cleanly to a crisp finish. Clear amber in the glass with good white lacing. At 5.5% ABV it suits the full duration of a meal service without fatigue.
On-trade positioning: The ideal second listing alongside the White Ale for venues building a Hitachino range. Suits craft beer bars, gastropubs, and Western dining rooms where guests are comfortable with hop-forward profiles. Positioned between lager and IPA on the menu narrative — use it to trade guests up from mainstream lagers without the full hop intensity of an IPA. Available in 330ml bottle and 20L keg for draught flexibility.
