Carmín de Peumo Carménère
Description
Carmín de Peumo Carménère — Peumo vineyard, Cachapoal Valley, Chile, 14.5% ABV. Chile's warmest and most celebrated site for this varietal. Made from old-vine Carménère, aged in French oak. Deep, opaque ruby; the nose is complex and beguiling with signature Carménère character — dark fruit, sweet spice, graphite, green pepper and dried herbs in perfect balance. On the palate the wine is full, rich and concentrated with fine-grained tannins, seamless oak integration and a finish of exceptional length. A reference-quality Chilean wine with ageing potential of a decade or more.
On-trade positioning: The icon Carménère anchor for fine-dining and premium wine lists in Singapore. The Peumo vineyard provenance and old-vine pedigree give sommeliers a compelling story to tell. Position alongside Argentinian Malbec icons and Californian Cabernets for guests exploring the New World premium tier. Appropriate for tasting menus, sommelier-selected pairings and premium bottle gifting. Contact HOAN for vintage and allocation.
